How to wake up for Salat-ul-FAJR?!

How to wake up for Salat-ul-FAJR?!

We all have that problem that we can't wake up for Fajr. Well here are some tips!

Tip #1

Make a sincere intention for waking up to pray Fajr! Remember RasulAllah ﷺ said:'' Your intention is better than your deed.'' So if you had the pure intention of praying Salat-ul-Fajr, but you didn't wake up at the time of Fajr, then it'll be like if you have had prayed fajr, because of your intention.

Tip #2

RasulAllah ﷺ said: ''If the last 4 verses of Surah Kahf, from Innallazina Aminu, to the end of the Surah, are recited with the intention of waking up at a certain time during the night or in the morning, In Shaa Allah the reciter will wake up at that time.''

Tip #3

Ask someone(Father, mother, brother etc) to wake you up at the time of Fajr if your alarm doesn't has any effect upon you.

Tip #4

If you have your alarm set on your clock or phone by your side table, you’ll be very tempted to hit the dismiss or snooze button. Set your alarm and keep it at a distance where you have to literally get out of your bed to turn it off. I used to put it on a table at a distance from my bed, which ensured that I was out of the bed and my body had gone through enough physical motions to take you to the sink for wudu.

Tip #5

GO TO SLEEP EARLY. Nobody has asked you to stay up till 02.00 a.m. watching youtube videos etc. It was a Sunnah of RasulAllah ﷺ to sleep immediately after Isha, so make it a habit for going to sleep early.

Now some inspirational hadiths about Salat-ul-Fajr

Abu Musa (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,

“He who The observes Al-Bardan (i.e., Fajr and `Asr prayers) will enter Jannah.”
(Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Abu Zuhair `Umarah Ruwaibah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying:

“He who performs Salat (prayers) before the rising of the sun and before its setting, will not enter the Hell.”
(Muslim)

''He who prays Isha in congregation is as if he has prayed fo half the night. As to him who (also) prays Fajr in congregation, it is as if he has prayed all night''
(muslim)

Islam

Always be there for them so they too will be there for you inshaAllah
Spending time with children is more important
than spending money on them.

Never give up! Never lose hope in the mercy of Allah - Allah loves it when you repent! Repent!

Many times we commit a sin and then shaytaan comes to us and whispers something like:

"Allah will never forgive you, you're too bad"

"You keep committing the same sin over and over again - you'll never be forgiven"

"Stop repenting because you're going to commit the sin again in the future"

"What's the point? Keep doing the sin and just carry on because you're a hypocrite"

Well, here are some tools to counter such whispers....

Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." (39:53)

“O you who believe! Turn to Allaah with sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will expiate from you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise)” (66:8)

“And all of you beg Allaah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful” (al-Noor 24:31)

“Will they not turn with repentance to Allaah and ask His forgiveness? For Allaah is Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful” (al-Maa'idah 5:74)

“Know they not that Allaah accepts repentance from His slaves and takes the Sadaqaat (alms, charity), and that Allaah Alone is the One Who forgives and accepts repentance, Most Merciful?” (al-Tawbah 9:104)

The messenger (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) said - “By the One in Whose hand is my soul, if you did not commit sin Allaah would do away with you and bring people who would commit sin then pray for forgiveness.” (Narrated by Muslim)

The messenger (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) said - “Every son of Adam sins, and the best of those who sin are those who repent.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi)

The Messenger of Allah (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “Allaah rejoices more over the repentance of His slave than any one of you who finds his camel after having lost it in a desolate land.”

The Messenger of Allah (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “Allaah will accept the repentance of His slave so long as the death-rattle has not yet reached his throat.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi)

The Messenger of Allah (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “There was among the people who came before you a man who killed ninety-nine people. Then he asked about the most knowledgeable person on earth, and was directed to a hermit, so he went to him, told him that he had killed ninety-nine people, and asked if he could be forgiven. The hermit said, ‘No,’ so he killed him, thus completing one hundred. Then he asked about the most knowledgeable person on earth and was directed to a scholar. He told him that he had killed one hundred people, and asked whether he could be forgiven. The scholar said, ‘Yes, what could possibly come between you and repentance? Go to such-and-such a town, for in it there are people who worship Allaah. Go and worship with them, and do not go back to your own town, for it is a bad place.” So the man set off, but when he was halfway there, the angel of death came to him, and the angels of mercy and the angels of wrath began to argue over him. The angels of mercy said: ‘He had repented and was seeking Allaah.’ The angels of wrath said: ‘He never did any good thing.’ An angel in human form came to them, and they asked him to decide the matter. He said: ‘Measure the distance between the two lands (his home town and the town he was headed for), and whichever of the two he is closest to is the one to which he belongs.’ So they measured the distance, and found that he was closer to the town for which he had been headed, so the angels of mercy took him.” (Agreed upon).

According to another version narrated by Muslim (2716): “He was closer to the righteous town by a handspan, so he was counted among its people.”

According to a version narrated by al-Bukhaari (3470): “Allah commanded (the righteous town) to draw closer and (the evil town) to move away, and he said: “Measure the distance between them,’ and he was found to be closer to (the righteous town) by a handspan, so he was forgiven.”

According to a version narrated by Muslim: “He leaned with his chest towards it”.

Never give up! Never lose hope in the mercy of Allah - Allah loves it when you repent! Repent!

Hadith of the day

Bukhaari and Muslim reported the hadith of al-Mi'raaj from Anas ibn Maalik from Abu Dharr in which Abu Dharr (ra) said, "The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, "I entered Paradise where I saw lights of pearl and its soil was musk". Muslim and Ahmad report from Abu Sa'eed that Ibn Sayyaad asked the Messenger (saw) about the soil of Paradise. He said, "It is a fine white powder of pure musk".

Hadith of the day

Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri narrated that the Messenger of Allah (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said,
"The people of Paradise will look at the dwellers of lofty mansions (i.e. a superior place in Paradise) in the same way as one looks at a brilliant star, far away in the East or in the West of the horizon. This is because of their superiority over one another (in reward)." One of the people asked, "O Allah's Messenger, are these lofty mansions for the Prophets which no one else can reach?"

The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) replied, "No! By Allah, in whose Hands is my life, these are for men who believe in Allah and also believe in the Messenger." [Bukhari and Muslim]
